“Thank You!”
The Isaiah Institute is continuing on with our commitment to support the Shalom Gardens Community as well as to sponsor other upcoming outreaches. The passing of our beloved president, Valerie Garza, has left a large void that will be difficult, if not impossible to fill. We are in the process of establishing a new Board of Govenors after this difficult time. I believe that through you and other members of the Isaiah Institute community coming together we will be able to do great things now and in the future.
We will continue to meet our current monthly financial obligations and to work towards our goal of reaching others in need. We are currently reviewing our projects and budget for 2012. We appreciate your love and your support; you have helped us through this challenging time and helped to continue the work of providing assistance and education to those in need.
Shalom Gardens Update
Mr Vimalathas, Shalom Gardens Project Manager, has continued to supply us with monthly reports and photos to detail how our monthly budget is spent and the activities of the community. Over the past few months improvements have been made, a continuous drinking water supply has been accessed, and electrical services provided. This has opened the door for two computers to be installed thanks to a donation from a church in the United States.
The children’s classes are averaging 50 students and the food program continues. This is
such an important outreach because according to Bro. Vimalathas,
“most of the children come to the Tuition (Classes) without eating.”
We are continuing to sponsor the 5 teachers salaries as well, and these teachers are vital to bringing education to these children. This past December Shalom Gardens held the Annual Year End Program where we sponsored gifts of food and educational supplies to the students and teachers. Thank you for your donations and support for

Website Update
Currently, we are working on a new website for Isaiah Institute that will be easier to navigate and obtain budgets, pictures, news, etc. Be on the lookout next month for our new and exciting changes!
The Isaiah Institute and the Shalom Gardens community thank you for you support!
